And why do you support that candidate?

Also, I haven't been following this race closely but I've noticed lots of people have been doing backlash against Andrew Yang over the last few weeks (people who previously approved of him or were indifferent towards him) and have watched and seen that he's losing supporters and favorability. And this is reflected in the polling numbers (graph pertains to Democratic Primary and is from Wikipedia):

Why has this happened?

Is it because of the recent non-economic-related statements he's making, like his stance on circumcision?

Or is it all those recent tweets he's making?

I am undecided

Stringer seems the least objectionable

Garcia, not from NYC. She's pro-development, but I like Yang too.

I clicked on the link in the OP, and for whatever reason, it shows that Yang rebounded and Adams has dropped below Stringer. Looks like there was another poll from the last couple days that was more favorable for Yang?

I don't really know why Morales isn't getting more traction among progressives. Either there's something I'm unaware of, or she's simply a casualty of the clown car nature of this primary.

Wiley and Garcia seem pretty inoffensive too.

Obviously Yang, though I don't expect Americans to be intelligent enough to actually vote for him.

It's a weird feeling being in the majority. I don't like it.

Good rule of thumb: Whenever you're in a majority, reconsider your position.

Although it now looks like Adams, not Yang, has the best odds imo.

This is why Trump was the greatest president, because he could never get a majority behind him.

Not a New Yorker, but I feel Yang is better than the bulk of other options. Adams I actively dislike. Yang at least has the potential to bring in fresh new thinking.
I get the impression he's quite smart, which also plays into it.

Bump

Upset at the lack of detailed debates about the candidates. Sorta expected that.

Non New Yorker.
I'd RCV this way

1. Eric Adams
2. Andrew Yang

for 3 and 4, Shaun Donovan and Raymond McGuire (Not sure which order)

5. Kathryn Garcia

I hate Maya Wiley and the other two have scandals.

It's mostly been happening in a similar thread in Individual Politics and the actual thread in state elections.
