Last year, the honorable MP Ted came up with a creative solution to the dual issues of food waste and hunger during the pandemic by using the FFRB to create a pipeline between farms to food banks. This helps supplement farms that've been hit hard by the pandemic and makes sure our food banks are stocked with fresh food for the people who need it most. While we've come a long way, many are still in need, so I thought it would be a good idea to keep funding the program through the end of the year.
