I'm already seeing articles that paint him in a negative light.  I don't think he be a shoo in the general. He barely managed to put away a flawed candidate. I'm not ready to count him out yet.  Right now I see him as the Scott Walker of 2024. Peaks than fades.

He is historically most reminding me of Bush in the 90's, which scares me personally.

But realistically, he's a mix between Cruz and Trump, both ideologically and personally. He's got the combative style needed to take on the media that Trump went a bit overboard with, but the smarts that Cruz has without the unlikeable lectury-ness. It really is a potent combination for Democrats and It'll be entertaining to see how they deal with it.
