Obviously the Republican (Trump) will win all of his 2016 states, Minnesota, New Mexico New Hampshire, New York, Oregon, and California, but somehow still lose Colorado

Norpoth seems to favour the incumbent party by significant margins (which, kinda makes sense, given how many presidents are re-elected), given that he predicted that Obama's reelection would be easy in 2012, but that Obama might struggle in 2008.

Therefore, I predict that his 2024 map will look like the kind of crazy map that me and my fellow optimistic (naive?) red avatars were making in mid-2020, with a couple of solid R state flipping to the Dems just for the lols. Something like this:
