I'll guess North Carolina (narrowly) for now, but I don't think this is obvious.

North Carolina, and I do think this is rather obvious. Tongue

As I said before, people are now overcompensating after having underestimated NC's R lean/overestimated the state's D trend in the past. I can already see the outlines of a "Titanium Tilt R North Carolina" meme taking shape.

As I said before, people are now overcompensating after having underestimated NC's R lean/overestimated the state's D trend in the past. I can already see the outlines of a "Titanium Tilt R North Carolina" meme taking shape.

It remains to be seen if Democrats can win a federal race in North Carolina statewide. They haven’t in over a decade. Democrats have won federal races in Iowa and Ohio more recently, and no one serious thinks those are still in play for Democrats.

Maybe another Democrat could’ve beat Tillis last year, but outside of Roy Cooper, I’m not sure who.

It's true that people are overestimating how "Titanium" NC's Republican lean is, but Texas does seem to be trending a lot faster, and 4 points isn't that much.
