If we are doing a fantasy league we need to set a draft date.

I am for doing the draft.

If I remember correctly, Illinwek is our manager. Where is he, and how can nudge him into scheduling the draft.
You can email him via the ESPN app, which I've done.

Gus Edwards, Baltimore RB1, is out for the season (ACL).
D'Andre Swift, Detroit RB1, is questionable (homicide).

Where is your source for it being a homicide? What I'm hearing is it's a groin strain.
Dave Kluge with Footballguys and FantasyPros called the Philly PD and confirmed that, despite anonymous tips implicating Mr. Swift in a murder, he is not under investigation at this time. Which raises more questions than it answers, frankly.

Another year of pretending Brady's not a cheater and Brown's not a rapist. What a classy franchise.
Another L for the losers and haters, and another W for the GOAT. Tremendous game!

Even if Tampa wins this game, they don't look that good for the second straight week. This is going to come to a head eventually and if they do indeed lose this game to what is at best a mediocre New England team, alarm bells need to go off.
Yeah, the secondary looks nothing like last year's unit. It's almost like Murphy-Bunting, Dean and Davis are all out and instead they're starting some practice squad guys and a guy who joined the team this week. Weird stuff.

but the NFL doubtless rigged their game for the Cowboys, like all Cowboys games.
Really impressive how Brady was able to overcome that rigging in the season opener. Just another example of how he's the Greatest Of All Time

You could always choose not to pick the Broncos/Steelers game and propose replacing it on the schedule with the Minnesota United vs Colorado Rapids match.

As for Gruden's replacement, I'd imagine a high-profile college coach would be the pick, so maybe Dabo Swinney gets the job, or Jim Harbaugh or Nick Saban make their returns to the NFL Head Coaching ranks.
Your brain is both special and powerful. Never change.

Lol. In his defense, the Raiders happen to be relatively good this year, and it's rare for a vacancy to happen with a team that isn't in rebuild mode, so an elite college coach might consider it worthwhile. But yeah those three guys are about the least likely in all of college to want to leave their teams for the Raiders. Imagine hardcore evangelical Dabo in Vegas?
Given the circumstances of the opening, I imagine the more immediate problem would be searching for a coach who can lead a process of racial reconciliation and healing and landing on Dabo Swinney, of all people.

Bucs were 6-2 on the road and 5-3 at home last season, just for the record — and, as a wild card team, had to win three straight road playoff games to even get to the Super Bowl

All of the NFL should be up in arms about that gross injustice of a game. Sad! A distortion of our national pastime! F**king 15 yards for being passionate about a huge play and another game handed to Brady! The league is a joke.
