Justin Tucker made a 66-yard field goal -- the longest in NFL history -- with no time left to give the Ravens a 19-17 win over the Lions.

On the same day that Matt Prater (who owned the previous record at 64 yards) tried a 68 yard FG that turned into an Iron Bowl-esque Kick Six.

The Chiefs are in so much trouble they went 15)1 last yr and they play the Eagles next week they clearly aren't Superbowl contenders tight now

So, are the Bucks, Brady clearly fumbled the ball and back to his old self the way he played in Superbowl against Eagles

Brady passed for 500 yards in that Super Bowl.  Nick Foles just had the game of his life and Doug Pederson made a lot of aggressive decisions that mostly paid off.

While it didn't work out for the Eagles last night, I wanted to note that I loved Sirianni's decision to try that 2 point conversion.  Going for 2 after cutting it from 14 to 8 is something analytics people have been clamoring for years about, and it's nice to see it finally starting to catch on a little more (even if the announcers were kind of dumbfounded about it).

Basically, it's that, if you make it, you only need an extra point to win, while, if you miss it, you can get a second shot.  Assuming you score twice (and using a 50% 2PC rate and 100% XP success rate to simplify things), your chances are this:

Go for 2:
50% Win in regulation
25% OT
25% Lose in regulation

Go for 1:
100% OT

I agree, and the rate of extra point misses this year makes going for 2 an even better decision!

Many years ago I attended a game in the original version of the WFL (World Football League).  That league did away with kicking the extra point entirely.  TDs scored 7 points and were followed by an "action point" try, which was like the current 2-pointer but worth only 1 point.

I went to an AAF game down in Birmingham in 2019, and they had mandatory 2 point conversions (but TDs were still only worth 6).

Alcohol consumption is an affront to the Lord.

For the record, I've personally never had a drink in my life.  I don't believe that alcohol is inherently sinful, but being drunk is, so I prefer to avoid that situation.  Plus, most men in my family have had addiction issues in their lives, so that's an added reason to just practice total abstinence from alcohol.
