As a group, we're just barely over .500 so far (if the Bears and Raiders win, we'll finish below it).  Politics Fan is currently leading at 10-4 with a few people at 9-5.

Clearly they need to play all their home games in Jacksonville!

The Rams are my early pick for SB favorites, honestly. They finally have the missing piece with Stafford.

You were saying the Bears were gonna win, Stafford knows the Bears very well as a Lion

I didn't pick the Bears (in fact, nobody did).  I just said that if the Bears & Raiders both win, the pick'em players will collectively have a losing record this week.

The Bears weren't gonna beat Rams away anyways only if they're playing in Chicago

My prediction held 30/15 Rams, Stafford is a title contenders, move over Packers, it's Rams,Bucks and Chiefs and Pitts as title contenders

Lions, Packers, Vikings, Bears are all 0/1

NFC North is new NFC Least.

Cowboys looking pretty good despite narrow loss to Bucs (which came down to a missed kick and bad refs), Eagles looked better than anticipated today, WFT not even too bad. Giants may be a weak spot but better than NFC North where they ALL seem to suck bad.

I fully expect the Packers to play much better next week and for the rest of the season, their week one performance was indeed quite bizarre. Yeah, if they stay healthy, Dallas should probably be able to win the NFC East (they would've almost certainly won it last year before Prescott's injury derailed their season). I think we're too quick to overreact to games in the first week sometimes anyways, in fact I'm old enough to remember teams who started the year (let alone just the first game) 9-0, 8-0, even 11-0, and didn't even make it to the Conference Championship game. It's just one game out of a total of 17, if this same pattern repeats in Weeks 2, 3, 4, etc., then maybe there'll be reason for concern.

Glad the Steelers came back to win their game 23-16. They were down 10-0 at the half.

It is a pleasant surprise to see the Steelers win, especially since I am preconditioned to expect them to lose.

Nothing is coming of the Steelers, they're gonna do the samething as Last yr fold, Big Ben is old and don't have Troy Palamolou the only 3x s he gotten to Superbowl

It's the BUCS, Rams, and Chiefs League right now

Ugh beat me to it, definitely feels like one of those games that didn't deserve to go to overtime, given the Raiders didn't lead at any point, but then again, I guess it's Baltimore's fault for blowing an early 14 point lead and then blowing multiple 7 point leads.

The Raiders win in perhaps the most fitting way, a touchdown pass to a totally open receiver, on a play that followed a penalty for taking their kicking team out too late (yes, this will sound quite bizarre to anyone who didn't watch the game)

Lamar Jackson and Justin Fields and Cam Newton are all the same they can run the ball but can't throw it, that's why Cam was benched as Patriots starter

Rams are the best team out west and so is the Niners, if it wasn't for the Rams and the arm of Stafford, Carr would be winning a title this yr, but Superbowl is in LA and that motivates the Rand to win
