What is a life hack that you consider useful and would advise others to do so as well?

You can get away with anything if you're white and have rich parents.

Put a bag of popcorn in the microwave before you have sex/make love. Great smell and a nice treat as a reward afterwards.

Believe it or not, I tried this once, but it did not work so well. In a betrayal I did not anticipate my lover left me in the middle of the act to eat the popcorn. Maybe my stamina was a curse instead of a blessing, for if I had just hurried up maybe I could have finished before the microwave was done and we could have enjoyed together.

You must have either a very slow microwave or very low stamina.

Never pay to check a bag when flying.

If you print your boarding pass before getting to the airport, you can proceed straight to security.  TSA doesn't care how many/what size bags you have, so you'll be able to carry your luggage through with you.  The airline will then gladly offer to check your bag for you free of charge at the gate (especially on a full flight.)

That works if you don't pack anything that isn't allowed on the plane, such as liquids or potential weapons (apparently many thing I travel with are potential weapons). Or if you aren't flying Spirit.

When I used to fly Spirit relatively often, I'd always bring a backpack of any size, with no issues, and without paying. But a rolling suitcase of nearly any size attracted their attention, and the fee to check such a bag last-minute is much higher than ahead of time, so I witnessed many a verbal altercation between Spirit customers and staff over gate-checking bags. One reason of many I try to avoid that airline whenever possible, but $9 tickets to Vegas were just so hard to pass up during the Before Times...

I have to say I was just stunned when I saw cheese being grated in a food processor. It starts at about 2:10 assuming you're not interested in the recipe for some reason.

Always use a tongue scraper when brushing your teeth.  Specifically, a copper one.  Not the plastic ones (more hygienic).

Why isn't this more common?  You people are so nasty.  Walking around with furry tongues.

How many airports/airlines have you tested this at? I would think this could go disastrously wrong in many ways

If you're going to vomit, go into the bathroom and drink several glasses of cold water (like 3 - 5) as quickly as you can, then go kneel in front of the toilet and stick your finger down your throat and get it over with.

The cold water:

1. makes everything come up more quickly, so you won't be stuck wretching and heaving or going back multiple times to get the last bits up. Especially useful if your stomach is quite empty with not much to bring up
2. dilutes the acidity and makes the whole affair less miserable
3. keeps your body temperature lower so you don't feel like you're burning up during/after vomiting (not sure if this is something that happens to other people)
