I know we're not but there's generally a danger in approaching constitutional game related issues as something that needs sorting and a law/rule being changed to sort it, and then in 18 months someone will ask why it was changed.

I'd want to reflect carefully before changing it; which is a long way of saying that I'm still unsure.

OBD - Supports 1 week

Falterin - support
Sev - opposed/supports 1 week
Pericles - More than three days but less than two weeks?
Myself - open to the current text/flexible
Spark - Support
Blair - unsure

Looks like a consensus is forming around 1 week perhaps?

A week is fine to me.

Also, on another note, it's recently occurred to me that while I will not be able to vote in this weekend's elections, I am still able to campaign in the NPC elections as of today. This has never been a problem before, and is probably too rare an occurrence to merit action from Congress, but there's obviously some legal grey area here and at this point I just hope my NPC speeches will be counted.
