2010 U.S. Senate Election in Wisconsin
✓Russ Feingold*(D): 1,069,538 (49.61%)
Ron Johnson (R): 1,055,522 (48.95%)

He had done it. All of the naysayers had said that Russ Feingold was doomed in this anti-Obama midterm. As he looked at the map he could certainly see what they were talking about. Blanche had lost, as had plenty of other top-notch candidates. Even Harry had won his race against that crazy by six points! But enough of that. The fact that he had won when so many others had lost felt good, if a little sad.

Iowa Caucus Results, 2016
✓Bernie Sanders: 50.1%
Hillary Clinton: 49.7%

That felt good. The evil establishment and their backers had lost. But now it was time for the speech he had written but never expected to use. He walked out to the podium at the victory party to massive cheers. He began:

"Today we have shown the crooked establishment that money can't buy popular support!"

-CROWD CHEERS-

"I look forward to fighting for the 99% throughout the remaining primaries. But this victory would not have been possible without my friend and campaign co-chair Russ Feingold!"

-CROWD CHEERS-

"The corrupt wall street puppets will soon see their fortunes fall. Thank you very much!"

-CROWD CHEERS-

Delegates:
Sanders: 24
Clinton: 20

As Al looked at that map, he didn't know what to think. On one hand, he knew Hillary quite well and considered her a friend. On the other hand, he agreed more with Bernie. Regardless, he knew what he had to do.

"Go with speech two!" He asked his secretary, who nodded.

After that, he looked at the primary map. The popular vote favored Bernie, and he felt he had to honor that.

2016 U.S. Senate Election in Colorado:
✓Michael Bennet*(D): 1,413,598 (51.40%)
Darryl Glenn (R): 1,248,037 (45.38%)

It had been close, but he had won his senate race. Every Democratic incumbent that was running had also kept their seats, in addition to the likely gains in New Hampshire and Illinois, and the possible ones in Indiana and Missouri. He wished he could say the same about the Presidential election. It was four in the morning, and everything had been called with the exception of Pennsylvania. As if listening to his thoughts, his macbook's screen beeped. It called Pennsylvania... for the wrong person.

Michael sighed. It would be a long few days once Trump got sworn into office.

✓Trump/Pence (R): 44.98% PV/280 EV
Clinton/Feingold (D): 49.55 PV/258 EV

What was she doing again? Right, checking the Senate results. Dianne had forgot, again. All the results had come in, so she turned to take a look.

Republican: 50
Democratic: 50

The Republicans now had control, since Pence would break the ties. But she turned to look at the specific races. The gains in Illinois, Pennsylvania, and New Hampshire weren't all that bad.

2016 Missouri Gubernatorial Election:
✓Jason Kander (D): 1,408,360 (50.21%)
Eric Greitens (R): 1,294,457 (46.14%)

Governor Jason Kander.

He took that in for a moment. In the state that voted for Donald Trump by several points, he had won the governorship. Then he got a notification on his phone that he was merely a plot device used by the author and he was then informed of all the gubernatorial results.

Phil will be governor of Vermont come hell or high water. The only reason I don't want Phil to run for President is that Vermont would be at the mercy of the *cough* Vermont Democratic party.

2016 U.S. House Election in Nevada's 3rd District
✓Jacky Rosen (D): 147,544 (48.13%)
Danny Tarkanian (R): 140,861 (45.95%)

Even though that stupid ignoramus had been elected President, Jacky had won her race and flipped Nevada's 3rd district. She couldn't help herself from planning for the 2018 Senate election, however. She also looked at the congressional results:

Republican: 234 (-13)
Democratic: 201 (+13)

Flipped from OTL: CA-49, TX-23, MN-02, CA-10, NY-22
Held from OTL: NE-02, FL-18

Whatever the case, the world would soon know the name Jacky Rosen...

2017 U.S. House Special Election in Georgia's 6th District
✓Jon Ossoff (D): 98,711 (50.23%)
Karen Handel (R): 37,990 (19.48%)

He had won his election, and now it was time to take a look at the other special elections held recently in Kansas, Iowa and Montana. The first two were from Trump cabinet positions while the second was due to a resignation to serve as the Presidential Special Envoy for Sustainable Agriculture. Jon didn't know why anyone would accept that sh**t position, but a D Gain is a D Gain.

2017 U.S. House Special Election in Kansas's 4th District
✓James Thompson (D): 61,048 (49.47%)
Ron Estes (R): 59,592 (48.29%)

2017 U.S. House Special Election in Montana's At-Large District
✓Rob Quist (D): 201,566 (53.06%)
Greg Gianforte (R): 167,516 (44.10%)

2017 U.S. House Special Election in Iowa's 3rd District
✓Theresa Greenfield (D): 109,509 (51.74%)
Matt Schultz (R): 100,121 (47.31%)

Slowly but surely, the Democrats were gaining seats in the House.

Georgia uses a complex two-round run-off system.

In that election OTL, Ossoff won ~48.5% and Handel got ~20%. This was because Ossoff was the only Democratic candidate while Handel had dozens of competitors. There were so many in fact that I just listed the #2.

So really the dems got ~51% of the vote here.

Why had he taken this job? Jared sat there wondering for a second. He had decided to watch the election results alone, as his boss was an idiot and would be mad. Whatever. He checked the results.

2017 New Jersey Governor Election
✓Phil Murphy (D): 1,224,491 (56.81%)
Kim Guadagno (R): 852,682 (39.56%)

2017 Virginia Governor Election
✓Tom Perriello (D): 1,417,258 (54.15%)
Corey Stewart (R): 1,148,968 (43.90%)

2017 U.S. Senate Special Election in Alabama
✓Doug Jones (D): 686,516 (50.92%)
Roy Moore (R): 649,305 (48.16%)

They had even lost the Virginia legislature as well, in addition to losing the Senate. At least this nightmare would be over by January 2021, or likely earlier.

The house dems had flipped 4 special elections, bringing them to 205 seats. Chuck knew there was a lot of pressure on him to gain seats, or at least keep control. While they had to defend far more seats, it was looking good.

The results for the congressional races were positive, for the most part. As Debbie examined the map, she thought about all the people who would be blaming her for rigging everything for Hillary or whatever. But at the moment she just looked at the beautiful map.
