The Democratic Party is the only major party concerned about it, due to the fact that Black people are the base of the Democratic Party; the Republican Party is indifferent to the issue other than Tim Scott, most police officers are now parroting GOP talking points on policing issues....Republicans, you are the party of Blue Lives Matter, you are the party of Back the Blue and Harry Houck, Greg Kelly, Dan Bongino, Bernard Kerik, Tomi Lahren, LivePD, sheriffs, etc.

What's your plan other than Tim Scott's plan?

Democrats are not concerned with this issue, sorry. Democrats are concerned with maintaining their base support and therefore opposed legitimate calls for reform and change.

A fairly significant amount of Republicans, according to polling and even political statements, were ready to make room for serious reform in the immediate months after the George Floyd situation.

Instead, the Democrats decided to kill Tim Scott's plan without a fair debate and without good faith discussion.

Tim Scott's plan wasn't perfect, but I'm not going to let trolls like you dictate the terms of debate. His plan could have opened the door for an open, honest conversation.

We live in a time period where serious reforms won't be achieved until we weaken the stranglehold that political gridlock has on both parties, their voters, and political interest groups.

A conversation could've started that. Small reforms were signed into law under the past administration, with bipartisan support. This should be a blueprint for how we achieve changes, not by engaging in grandstanding.

The Scott Plan, at least, was a starting point. If you don't like it, then figure out a way to get both parties to the table instead of incessantly whining for attention.

If Democrats aren't serious, explain Jamie Foxx, DL Hughley, etc. on their side?
