Considering the unrest in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area will more than likely continue over the next several weeks due to the Derek Chauvin trial and death of Daunte Wright, it's probably about time a megathread was made for this.

They're probably just using it as a staging ground and it makes perfect sense. That's probably the area with the most open parking in Minneapolis has easy access to almost anywhere in South Minneapolis. If any unrest broke out it'd be the most convenient place to deploy from.

The state already paid Floyd 27M, there will be a settlement as well and then a trial that's why Chauvan was easily convicted

That murder was also heartbreaking. At the hands of a 26 year veteran. What in hell was she thinking that day? She also needs to be nailed for her negligence and stupidity.
