I don't think this is a good idea. In this timeline, Atlasia has already abandoned Saudi Arabia, a key ally in the Middle East. Taking this action to weaken ties with another key ally, the UAE is not wise. Iran is very happy to see all of this right now as their influence spreads throughout the region. The proxy-conflicts in Lebanon and Syria are probably slanted towards Iran ITTL due to our abandoning of Saudi Arabia, and this would shift those conflicts even more towards Iran. Assad and Hezbollah would come that much closer to winning their respective proxy-conflicts.
