I agree.  We could lose the region to Iran. I would also be interested in discussing reapproaching the Saudis.

Does the F-35 program exist?  If so, could we hypothetically include the UAE and Saudis, but provide no training?

I'm interested to see if they'll be able to fly them without training or not.

Mr. Speaker,

This is a dangerous bill.  I cannot believe my party is so gung-ho to ceede the entire Middle East to Iran and its sphere of influence.

We have totally pissed off the Saudis, and with this bill we will lose our last remaining strategic ally on the peninsula. This will be a great disaster.  Labor members here should be ashamed.
