(Yes it'll be in a backhanded way like deflecting with whataboutery involving some Democratic politician who had a scandal but it'll still effectively be defending Trump just the same.)

Honestly even if Matt Gaetz gets indicted I wouldn't be shocked if he starts whatabouting about Hillary Clinton or Hunter Biden.
