More likely would be Democrats vs. Republicans vs. DSA after the abolition of the electoral college. Depends on where the DSA is able to put down solid roots. A strong start for the party would be to consolidate the urban Midwest and pick up disaffected Sun Belt Hispanics. Long-term, the DSA would probably look to pick up urban areas while Democrats consolidate the suburbs and Republicans the (mostly white) rurals.
