GA could arguably be the strip of terrain that includes parts of Midtown, Little Five Points, Edgewood, Druid Hills & North Decatur. Around 80k people in all. This is at least if you're basing it on simple [average of white % & D %].



But if you want to balance this along with actual woke beliefs and attitudes (rather than assuming wealthy educated types voting D means they're progressive in general), then you'd want to take a look at the 40,000 or so people living in Athens (stretching from UGA to Whitehall).

Just out of curiosity, how did these two areas vote in the 2016 U.S. Senate race?

A lot differently:



From Barksdale +21 to Biden +46 in the Athens community (25-point difference)

From Barksdale +38 to Biden +68 in the ATL community (30-point difference)
