to expand on that, i would say it's the Bywater/Marigny neighborhood which borders the French Quarter... the places there have the most "hipster" energy in our area.
the older hipsters move to the Holy Cross area of the Lower 9th Ward, and some have moved to Arabi in St. Bernard Parish as Marigny and Bywater prices have increased
