Mine is that people that were subject to house arrest around the start of Covid are lucky timing wise.

Thinking about an answer to this made me realize that, while I conceive most of my ideological or practical thoughts in the shower, I conceive most of my theological ones lying in post-orgasmic shame. I'm not sure what to make of this, but there you go.

Maybe not a shower thought, but I've recently come to appreciate the fact that recorded sound has been around for no more than 130 years.  Gives new understanding to how ubiquitous recorded music is in our daily lives...you could say that every musical arrangement heard before 1890-or-so was unique (since live music can never be reproduced exactly the same way)

I don't think about showers very much.  What is there to think about?  What the optimal temperature is?

I was thinking a couple weeks ago that big international meetings like the G7 and the Astana Talks need to put out movie-style posters and professionally-produced teaser trailers to get people more hyped and maybe make diplomacy sexy like fighting wars.

Tangential, but here's a really cool video about extracting "recordings" of sound from decades and even centuries before the earliest known recordings. The good stuff starts at around 26:33 but I recommend watching the first couple minutes to understand how his method works.

I always worry about how much water is going to end up on my bathroom floor because apparently all the shower curtain liners I get suck at their job.

Actually, I live next to an armory so when all the hot military men are outside, I open the window and enjoy the view Smiley

I mentally composed much of my master's thesis, Pop Fiction Engagements with Christianity in Post-Persecution Japan, in the shower.

The teen movie trope of throwing a wild party while the parents are away is probably not feasible now with modern day technology and Millennials might be the last generation to experience that occurring in real life.

I had a wacky business idea a couple nights ago: a giant artificial womb in which people can simulate their time pre-born for relaxation purposes. Kind of like an isolation tank, only you're sticky and naked and everything feels all gooey.

So, basically this, but with less body horror?

More or less, but I'd envision the opening to resemble a vulva.

I guarantee people would go for it, so if anybody has any connections and/or capital to invest, let's get together and meet me at the drawing board. Cheesy

I blame Muon2:

Over the past couple weeks, since he roped me into the Atlas Chess Tournament as a means of appeasing me, since he was unable to host a Diplomacy Tournament, my deepest shower thoughts involve assessing and analyzing my most recent chess games on chess.com:

Items such as:

"Where should I have stuck my White Bishop?"

"Was castling on the King's Side vs the "Queen's Side", a stroke of genius or a massive mistake?

"Why do I typically dominate when I play Black vs lose when I play White---- Is it more of my openings or my middle game?"
