The assault weapons ban is saving dozens of lives every month. Already, would be mass shooters are scoping out plans for if this bill is passed. Senators are literally choosing between life and death here.

If it passes there would no doubt he a surge in the buying of assault weapons, and those would include potential and future mass shooters. People are not born mass shooters they become them, even a seemingly innocuous gun owner can become a mass shooter overnight. It's not like we know who will and won't become one, but yes many of the weapons bought if this bill is passed will be used in premeditated mass shootings.
