Even against Casey, the Green is NOT going to get 5%.

Time will tell whether the thing is closing or not, but I find the director's comment interesting that the ol' "Green Party candidate" is sucking votes away. Uh... my understanding was there was a left alternative to Casey for most of the time and once upon a time I thought Casey's leads were quite substantial, like 15-18 points. The Green Party candidate doesn't shrink a race like this from 15-18 to 6 or less, if indeed that's the case.

Santorum still has a tremendous up-hill battle. The only thing Casey doesn't want to have to do is really work to get the Philly vote. That could get him into a situation where it's real close. He needs to be able to count on a lot of it.

That is where I come in.  Smiley  NE Philly is going to get struck by the Santorum campaign.

I'd consider voting for the Green candidate in this one if I was in PA. Casey is just as conservative as Santorum on most issues...but in the end I guess would hold my nose and vote for Casey because Santorum is..Santorum.
