What an immersive read. I must say, I actually am considering voting for the guy after reading it. I urge anyone having doubts about Ron DeSantis to read the article, it will clear all of them and you may come out on his side afterwards.

DeSantis hasn't been scrutinized because he hasn't announced any tax cuts, once he does running for Prez he will be scrutinized. FL has no income taxes, so he doesn't have to come out with a tax cut

Really? DeSantis is not making any announcements on 2024 until after 2022. He needs to win a yuge landslide victory, 20+ points, expand Republican majorities in the Florida legislature, ensure Republicans win other statewide races; by early 2023, he should be in the same position as George W. Bush was in 1999, when the big donor's began descending on Austin to pledge their support.  If DeSantis, Rubio & other Republicans do well in 2022, like winning back the House, then DeSantis is well positioned to be very competitive not only in the primaries, but in a general election. Trump cannot be discounted however, & shouldn't be. Democrats will go into overreach & there are signs that this is already the case. So DeSantis blatantly showing his hand right now is a tad premature.
