Would this mean that Agnew would become President upon Nixon’s resignation? If so, what would President Agnew be like? Would Reagan primary Agnew like he primaried Ford?

No one wanted President Agnew as even without the bribes he was seen as not fit to be President

His brief presidency would have been a mess, much stable and erratic than Ford's tenure. Either would have lost the 1976 election, but - my assumption - he would have been pushed aside not to stand for a full term. Positive effect might be Reagan becomes the GOP nominee and loses the GE, consequently never becomes prez.

I really don't see it being much different from Ford's presidency. Reagan probably wouldn't have challenged Agnew though.

Would this mean that Agnew would become President upon Nixon’s resignation?

That's how the constitutionally-dictated presidential line of succession works, yes.

If so, what would President Agnew be like?

An oaf without astute political skills who just delegates his foreign policy to Kissinger & domestic policy to advisers who actually have brains.

Would Reagan primary Agnew like he primaried Ford?

If he senses blood in the water (i.e., a ripe enough opportunity to potentially win) as he did in real life, then I see no reason why he wouldn't.
