He is born in NY and his style of politics and personality could make him a strong force in politics if he ever runs. If let's say he quits PM a few years from now, moves to the U.S and chooses to run, would that be possible?

I knew someone in high school who was obsessed with Boris (being around the end of his tenure as Mayor of London) who often thought about this idea. However, the man renounced his American citizenship in 2017 for tax purposes, and only lived in the US very briefly after his birth, so he's pretty clearly decided to close off that path.

Interesting case as he was a natural-born citizen but renounced it. I guess the question is if he were to be re-naturalized, would he be treated as a natural-born citizen again or did he irrevocably lose that right?

If he formally renounced his citizenship in the presence of American consular services, then probably not, no.

In any event, though, he'd still have to continuously live in America for a period of 14 years, so even if he wanted to, he wouldn't be eligible 'til 2036 at the earliest.

He'd still be 6 years younger than Biden in 2026, lol.

Governor of Kansas is an option though.
