If things are convergent and Trump is nominated against Hillary, he flips NH and MN is close enough to give BRTD a panic attack.
However this could give a lot of early energy to Ted Cruz, enough for the likes of Carson to reconsider running. If Cruz is able to clear the field early, with Bush out before New Year's, he can win the nomination. Otherwise he's locked into a tight 1v1 against Trump.
