Better if the olds go first. Don’t want to take away their vaccines.

Young, healthy people getting vaxxed now are selfish.

Only if you don't live in the US, UK, or Israel. I'm sure there other countries that have thoroughly vaccinated their olds too, but I don't know them off-hand.

Yes, but even in the UK there are basically no healthy people in their 20s or 30s who have been vaccinated, although we’ve vaccinated a higher percentage of our population than the US. Compared to the US, we’ve prioritised getting it too as many old and clinically vulnerable people as possible first.

I've heard otherwise, but that wasn't my point. My point was saying that young people in certain countries getting vaccinated isn't selfish or taking away from the olds.

My wife and I got our 1st shot of Moderna this Monday. She did have a little pain in the arm, but we're just fine.

I've had one shot of Pfizer.  Someone should re-do this poll today, and break it down by country (or at least, US vs. non-US).  Seems like nearly everyone I talk to has had at least one shot now, though I realize there are plenty who haven't.

I have signed up now for a vaccine in the Austrian registration system.

I was ranked „priority 3“.

Which means I probably get a first dose of whatever my doc has in June or July ...

By the time many people get their first dose, I'll need a booster shot.

Got my first shot of Moderna yesterday.

Minimal side effects. Slight dizziness/disorientation for 10 minutes, followed by about five hours of fatigue. Still have a bit of a sore arm.

I already mentioned in the other topic that I've had my second dose of Pfizer. I still don't hear the hive mind though.
