I think Xahar hit the nail on the head in the sense that we have to be realistic when it comes to encouraging “ideological diversity.” It would be delusional to suggest the Atlas right is remotely representative of the contemporary Republican Party, and that’s mostly a good thing for obvious reasons. We don’t need more Mike Naso’s on this site.

I also think that we already do have a sufficient number of right-leaning posters on this site; it’s just that the average blue avatar posts their opinions a lot less than the average red/maroon avatar (objective fact). Many of them refrain from posting their opinions because they either (1) might face pushback or (2) are ‘disgusted’ with the GOP and don’t want to condemn the Party on a 24/7 basis, or (3) are just disillusioned with politics in general.

However, in the grand scheme of things, it’s simply their choice not to participate in political discussion on this forum. No need to blame the red avatars.
