Still too much support. But I guess his approvals could drop to 30% or even 20% and he wouldn't resign. Hopefully he gets impeached and removed soon. It's a shame the guy is still in office.

Glad to see him underwater, finally. Let's hope it keeps falling.

I don't expect him to resign but I think it's more likely than not he'll ultimately be primaried. If he's not, He'll go on to win the gubernatorial race against the Republican but with an embarrassingly low margin for a Democrat in NY State. (9-12% range)

His disapproval needs to rise more, because it's likely he'll still win the primary with name recognition alone and the GOP will certainly not win either in NY, because Cuomo will win regardless because he has a D next to his name.

It doesn't really matter if Cuomo is unpopular, partisanship will save him (like Newsom), especially against someone like Zeldin.

Newsom isn't even unpopular though, and California's Covid numbers are great right now. California never did terribly, they could have done better with an earlier second lockdown but the Republican screeching of "no lockdowns!" as 600 died daily is stupid. The Republican Party is an extremist organisation that is out of touch with reality, Californians don't fall for it.

Newsom giving 600 stimulus to only those that work in a state that gives GR to Homeless people was wildly criticized by Tim Steyer, if someone primaries him, he would lose on that alone, but Steyer was told by Pelosi and Harris not to primary Newsom
