Knute might be the type of Republican I could support over a poor Democratic candidate. But seems like he's done with running as Wikipedia lists him as "declined". Hope Democrats nominate a good candidate.

He actually left the GOP earlier this year.

Which he probably wouldn't have done were he the Representative from OR-02, so it's just positioning I would guess.

OR is a Wildfire state and against oil drilling off the coast of Cali, that's why it's a D state, oil drilling causing droughts on WC and give way to Hurricanes in Gulf
