Alito and Thomas will probably both retire the next time there's a GOP White House/Senate duo (so probably 2025-2029)

If there is no GOP president until 2033, Thomas would be 85 and Alito 83; Roberts 78; the other three in their 60s

It'll be Alito's seat when he retires in the 1st year of the next Republican presidency, which could arguably be as soon as Jun. 2025 or as late as Jun. 2037 (the latter admittedly only if he even makes it that far). Voted 2033-2037 out of a suspicion that Biden/Harris are likely the new Reagan/Bush in terms of, well, terms.

And for the umpteenth time, Thomas won't retire. He has publicly said time & time again that his appointment is a "death sentence" & that he's staying on the bench for the duration of his lifetime appointment - that is, that he'll die on the bench, ideology of the President at the time be damned.

This might be a good place to say that I no longer admire Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Her legacy is Amy Coney Barrett.

This might be a good place to say that I no longer admire Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Her legacy is Amy Coney Barrett.

I read her book online, I am a great admirer of Brandeis, Cardoza and Frankfurter, she waited for Hillary in 2016 but chosed not to watch her funeral. She was a student of Thurgood Marshall

If Dems get 53/47 Senate, we will Crt pack and make it 6/5 Environment there aren't enough cases for 13 judges
