FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The statements made by Governor DeSantis are inexcusable and disqualifying. These views should have no place in our society. The Democratic Alliance does not have confidence in the Governor's agenda at this time, and as such we are not supporting it until her resignation. The people of Virginia deserve better than a Governor who seemingly thinks that a third of their constituents can't learn. The truth is that minority-heavy areas are stricken with poverty and can not support good schools because they do not have a good tax base. There is something we can do, contrary to the governor's statements, and we hope the Governor's successor can see that.

Statement on NPC elections

Although we did not do as well as we may have wished, I will say that overall we have gotten some good victories this cycle. Governor Cunningham has a renewed trifecta in SC, Governor Elliott has won another term, Lt. Governor Elect Edmondson is ready to serve the folks of Oklahoma, and although they didn't win, Governor Baldwin and Mayor Diaz put up a damn good fight and have served their people well. It was always going to be difficult to replicate our performance from August, but we did a damn good job at trying.

Now we look to the next cycle, and I am hopeful that we can pick up a number of seats while holding Kansas and the Virgin Islands. I will once again embark on a national tour this month, to bring the DA's message to all corners of the nation.

STATEMENT

I am tendering my resignation as Chair of the Democratic Alliance and leaving Atlasia until further notice.

I could go on and on about plenty of different things, but the game just is not fun anymore. Anyone who wants to be outside the duopoly get shat on left and right, even by folks who are also outside the duopoly. I might, heck, I probably will come back, but Atlasia is not good for my thoughts at this point. I look at the direction Atlasia is headed toward, and it looks bleak. Jumping off the train might hurt, but it'd hurt a lot more falling off the cliff with everyone else.

So, to quote a great man: Hey guys, I guess that's it.

I should also state that even the NPC elections were not fun anymore. It felt more like a chore. This isn't what a "game" is supposed to be about.

I worry that Atlasia will not last long with the way I think it's headed. At least, it won't be a thing other than a couple party insiders using waves of zombies against each other every couple months. I do think I'll come back someday, but I have a nagging feeling that a new reset of sorts will have occurred between then and now.

Statement on the Rules

Well, looks like our first order of business is just about done, putting together the rules for the Senate. And I've gotta say that I'm impressed with how thoroughly my fellow senators have checked through them to ensure more efficiency, less confusion, and overall better procedure. It certainly gives me hope for the upcoming session and I look forward to it. I of course voted Aye on the rules package.

Looks like we didn't get quite where we wanted to in Louisiana, but we have gained everywhere. Let's not forget where folks like Tarrance Becard came from. Local offices. Not the big, flashy governorships. We see a lot of new, bright folks heading into office and I think with more DA legislators we'll see some serious improvements for folks. Let's look forward to next month, and the future!

Good evening.

I will get to the point quickly, as I've never been one to beat around the bush.

LT's behavior over the past few months is nothing short of unacceptable and disqualifying. They go beyond any reasonable standard expected for someone in his position, and are insensitive to the point that it's impossible to describe without giving examples.

-Saying now-President Sev should be "liquidated" in a "German style camp"
-Telling Scott that his life is "f**king pathetic" and that he's amazed that Scott "expects people to feel sympathy for [Scott]"

and many other examples exist of this horrendous behavior.

He also fostered false claims that he was the legitimate winner of the June election, to the point of making his own white house thread which he only called a meme after massive public backlash.

On top of this, he has allegedly doxxed someone, with enough evidence being present that he now has to stand trial.

All of this conduct is absolutely repugnant and should not be welcomed by anyone. And it certainly won't be accepted by the DA.

As such, on the advice and broad support of DA members and leadership, I am issuing this statement on behalf of the entire DA to condemn LT's conduct. We will not stand for this behavior from anyone.

In addition, we will be evaluating our relationship with the Federalist Party should they continue to not answer for LT's conduct and influence over the party. If they defend his actions, we believe we will be forced to cut any ties.

This is a difficult decision to make politically, but this is a case where Atlasia matters more than one man's ego. We will not bow down to him.

Joint release from Gov. Chad D. Allen and Sen. WB

The idea that Governor Allen or the majority of DA supports this act is outrageous. We agree that some steps should be taken to help people switch to healthier diets, but this act is not just overreach but unlikely to even help. We do not support it.

Sen. Ishan is simply lying to try and get his crackpot idea of the Virgin Islands becoming independent to be more than a fringe movement.

It is clear that the Virgin Islands breaking away from Atlasia could have disastrous consequences. We have made strides to get the VI back to where we were before hurricanes Irma and Maria. We would be nowhere as far as we’ve gotten into recovery without help from the regional and national governments.

We’re confident that the people of the Virgin Islands will reject this crazy idea at the voting booth in the coming months.

Statement on the pulling of frivolous resolutions:

I may love a good meme now and again (and more often than that) but we should not be wasting time that can be spent on important things discussing “Wulfricism” or trying to commend McDonalds. I’m glad that the PPT agrees.

PRESS RELEASE AND SENATE APPOINTMENT ANNOUNCEMENT

With the resignation of Senator Transit to hopefully become Secretary of State, a post I am certain he will be appointed to and do well in, there is now a vacancy in the Senate. With the burden falling upon myself as party chair to appoint a replacement, I have decided to appoint myself to the Senate.

I was very split in this decision, in part because it is odd to go and appoint myself to an office. However I am certain that if transit had not run, I would have been elected in his place, and as such this appointment fulfills the spirit of the vote in August.

On Wulfric

I recently have become aware of some anti-Semitic comments made by GC member Wulfric/Dwarven Dragon. I can tell you right now that this bigotry has no place in the DA. He's been stripped of all membership roles on the DA Discord, and we do not stand by him. Unless he can retract those statements sincerely, he is not welcome in the DA. We will not support him in any future elections. There are very few we do not welcome, and those who say things like this are part of those few. I call on him to leave the party and resign from his office. This is something we can't have coming from our public officials.

I have had to make this decision quickly, but I feel it is the correct one for statements like this.

On re-election

I announced a few weeks ago that I would run for re-election to the Senate for another 2-month term. Although I will admit I have not been as active as I absolutely wish I could due to real life concerns, I still remain an active, principled member of the Senate. I am still slowly working towards a momentous piece of legislation with President Scott, and I have been an active voice on foreign policy. The legislation I look to bring forward is in fact one I personally started on during my first stint as a Representative before it sadly fell by the wayside.

I hope to work on this and much more in another term as your Senator. I hope to have your support next month.

I am severely disappointed to see that the Southern Government wants to impose religious language on schools, but I am not surprised. Believe me that this is not where the fight ends. I am currently in discussion with individuals on what to do to ensure that Southern Schools remain Secular. I can say, at the very least, that no person voting for this has any right to swear to Olawakandi when taking office again. ßtop playing.

Sen. WB @OfficialWB

Had a great time meeting Gov @GovJCunningham today, talked about current issues affecting South Carolina and how the state can stand against anti-Secularism.

I just got off the phone with Governor James Benson of Kansas. We both are extremely alarmed at the aggression in a conflict that we hoped had long died. As you may remember, Governor Benson was nearly kidnapped or worse by pro-Fremontian terrorist groups. Ones that the FM rightfully denounced if I recall.

The Governor has demanded that fremontian forces stop this aggressive posturing and also to the southern government to act with restraint. The Governor does not want another drop of blood to be shed on the fertile fields of Kansas.

I personally will stand behind him. I condemn the moves made tonight, ones that threaten the lives of thousands of people.

I ask both sides to, quite simply, calm the hell down. This is not worth it.

I should also say that I obviously don’t stand with Governor LT on really anything. But I won’t let a state’s territorial integrity be destroyed, even by those who I’m friends with. I have morals and I have values.

I met with Gov. Cunningham a few moments ago to make sure our great state will be free from bloodshed at this time. Each death is a tragedy, one we work to prevent every day. The Governor and I are confident that should conflict manage to reach us, that he will protect all our citizens.
