• Nationally, 81% of households have access to broadband connection.
• Maryland, Massachusetts, and Washington are the states with the highest proportion of broadband users (86%).
• Conversely, the worst performers on the list were Mississippi and Arkansas, with a 71% rate.
• Regionally, the South has 79.47% household access to broadband, Fremont 82.4%, and Lincoln 83.5%.
• These figures take into account only continental Atlasia: the situation elsewhere ranges from very high access rates (in the mid-80s for both Alaska and Hawaii) to very poor results in the other island states.
