Though I would likewise have preferred the Secretary of State's official input, his statements during the confirmation hearing regarding the administration's China policy have been very well put and don't appear out of line with what we are considering here.

I'm proud to engage in the same warmongering as the Hong Kong protesters and the Taiwanese people have done. Please allow me to make a useless gesture while I vote AYE.
