Looks like progressives took over the leadership of Nevada Democratic state party, which since 2016 might have been the most successful Democratic state party in the whole country.
The old guard around Harry Reid promises to fight on separately



The most successful state Democratic party is arguably Hawaii, although NV Dems are best at winning narrowly.

While this will probably have no impact, it baffles me that a state so closely divided where the Dems have done so well so consistently in recent years would change gears like this. It would be like the FL GOP electing Roy Moore as their state chair. Sure it probably won’t matter because nobody cares who state chair is...but why risk it?
