SecularGlobalist and SirWoodbury both got 30 day tempbans.

How much longer before the permanent ban hammer finally comes down on SirWoodbury?

Also don't flame people, because I've recently seen SirWoodbury getting flamed like people saying "LEAVE now", and it has gotten a lot of recs. It actually made me kinda feel sick. I know his posting behaviour is quite bad and perhaps trollish (not sure). But he doesn't deserve that kind of reaction too, and it kinda makes it disgusting as well. There's no reason to give him that kind of reaction. If you don't like his takes or his topics, ignore them or just stay out of the topic. It couldn't be simplier than that.

I've complained about this a number of times as well. Obviously, the majority of posters on here disagree, and don't see anything wrong with it. If they have some patience, they will receive the outcome that they wish.

I reset the poll and added some new users & took the banned ones off the list.

Here’s the results of the old poll:

also, congrats to Sestak.

How many users on this list have been banned now since the beginning of the year?

Bagel23, Saruku, and The Houstonian. The latter two were sockpuppets.

I see. I know SirWoodbury was given a temporary ban, so he'll be back when that's finished. It'll be interesting to see how much longer it takes before he's banned permanently. Is there anyone who you think is in imminent jeopardy of getting banned? Or anyone who you think might get sanctioned?

This is how I’d categorize the users on this list:

More likely than not to get banned: SecularGlobalist (Cry), SirWoodbury (I expect him to become more trollish when he returns), SAAuthCapitalist (probably a sock or troll), MATTROSE94, ShadowOfTheWave

Probably a decent chance of getting banned: TheReckoning

Unlikely: bronz, IAMCANADIAN, Yellowhammer, Houstianan

Pretty much no chance: the rest of the list

What about Fuzzy Bear? Given how he's become, and given that many of his posts have been moderated or deleted already, I'm surprised he hasn't been given additional sanctions at this point. I don't think he will be permabanned, but a temporary ban might be on the horizon.

With bagel23 tactically sacrificed, the mods have free reigns to ban a blue avatar. Best bet are either the obvious socks (SAA, Pieman) or rabid trolls (SirW, Reckoning).

They need to prioritize getting rid of SirWoodbury.

This does seem to be the strategy, doesn't it? Sort of like admitting a free state for every slave one.
I mean it’s the only way to get the #outrage club off their backs. Although with yet another Coolface sock in Motorcity, there’s now more leeway for the time being.

SirWoodsbury is strategic with his tactics of disappearing and reappearing for extended periods of time. Same deal with Russianbear. It’s a bit difficult then swatting them as the other bulls in this China shop.

That shouldn't stop the moderators from banning him.

As it turns out, everyone this list aside from SAAuthCapitalist survived, although fhtagn and SirWoodbury received temporary bans, and Yellowhammer may have (although I'm not entirely sure).
