Yes I know this is a Red Eagle video and I'll probably get ridiculed for it, but I still wanna know your opinions on whether or not the results would've been drastically different.

For those who don't want to watch the video and wanna skip to the map, here's his map (keep in mind the definitions for his ratings may be different then y'alls):

As for me, I think Trump would win, but the map would've been a little different. Here's mine:

I think he probably would've won with 2016 minus MI and maybe plus NV

A 269-269 Tie is the result after a week of counting, with Wisconsin and Pennsylvania decided by razor-thin margins

Despite Biden's majority popular vote win, a deal between the House and Senate is struck - Trump remains as President in the House Contingent Election, while the Senate votes for Harris to take over as Vice President. Nobody is happy, especially Mike Pence.

Given that Trump is Trump, something else probably would have come up to affect the election.

Red Eagle discussed how the alt history of covid not existing would've affected the George Floyd riots. How do you (or anyone else if they wanna pipe in) think the riots would've been affected? Would Floyd not have been in the position he was in if not for covid? Autopsies did show he had covid in his system at the time of his death.

There may have been protests, but I don't think there would have been big riots. I think a lot of the rioting was because people were antsy from being cooped up for two months, with a lot of them not having school or work.

Who thinks COVID helped Trump in touristy places? I guess it hurt him a lot in the rust belt.

No, he was losing to Biden in polls before Covid, that's why in 2018, Trump got impeached to try to get Hunter Biden investigated, lol if MN didn't go red in 2016, it wouldn't have gone red in 2020

What if there was no George Floyd but COVID or vise versa?

The two are related.  Without COVID, you wouldn't have tens of millions of Americans sitting idle, binging 16 hours of cable news/social media every day, not able to go out and do the things that normally keep them occupied (i.e., work, school, church, gym, visiting family, going to restaurants/bars, etc.)  That sort of society-wide lethargy is a powder keg for unrest.  The George Floyd protests were so huge mostly because of the COVID lockdowns.

COVID was the most animating event of the past twenty years, and it wasn't even a singular event - it was (and is continuing) to get rehashed day-in-and-day-out by a rent-seeking public health intelligentsia helped by their friends in a profit-maximizing media industry.  You can't separate anything that has happened since March 2020 from its omnipresence.

lol, anyways I think people forget just how unpopular Trump was when discussing this, a president with disapprovals at 55% is simply not winning re-election.

So long as the economy held (there were some signs that it might not, even before COVID), I think he wins, and even if it were to dip I don't think it would've been noticeable enough for him to lose. I think he wins with this map:

PA and NV could also go to Trump, but I think at least one of them would go for Biden in the end, if both were to go, it would get Trump to 296, which would be IMHO his electoral ceiling.

Probably. Name the last incumbent with a good economy to lose re-election.

I think you all are overestimating trump
In fact i think youre underestimating how much anti maskers helped trump by firing up conservatives that otherwise may have stayed home
I think trump loses even worse then he does irl by losing florida and NC

He was his own case having never been elected in the first place.
