NBA star Kyle Korver, a white man, has been vocal in his work in activism and social justice, proving to be a white ally. He grew up in Paramount, California and his family moved to Iowa where he attended high school and attended Creighton University, before being drafted in the NBA in 2003 where he soon became a millionaire. He's lived all over the U.S, from Pennsylvania to Utah to Illinois to Georgia.....he is a free agent as of 2021, but hasn't said whether he would retire or not; he has made appearances on TV as a commentator on social issues and even met with Pope Francis last year to discuss social justice.....where would he be a good fit in? Iowa? California? Georgia?

Probably California, but good luck to him trying to be relevant among all those ambitious pols. Iowa is beyond gone lol. Georgia is another state where Dems have a lot of talent and all of that talent is coming out all at once as Stacey Abrams and the 2018 slate and then Biden and Ossoff/Warnock showed that the state is competitive. Illinois is a bad choice since he has no connection to the Chicago machine, which make no mistake, still exists even if MJM is gone. Pennsylvania might work, but the state is very competitive, so carpetbagging allegations can sink the campaign. Utah is well....Utah, no further explanation, needed. TL;DR NOTA is the best answer, but California could work if he tries for a state leg position. Either way why would he ever give up his millions to become a politician where the salary is much lower, and he isn't connected enough to the donors or establishment to get large amounts of campaign cash.

Being that he played college ball at Creighton and lived in nearby Iowa from the age of 12 (according his Wikipedia page), maybe he could run for Nebraska-02. His hometown of Pella is in Iowa-02, so he could run there if he wanted. But since I am very much a "trends are real" believer, I feel the urban Nebraska seat is the better target.
