Why are all the conservatives against the proposal? They'd probably win.

I think if we had 10 region, split in a way that each region had 3 states one party and two the other, and that each party had an equal number of "3" states, it could be a good race.

Make it so that only ppl from that region can vote, and they have to vote in their post, rather then a poll.

It'll give us something to do when the presidential election is over.

I'll create a district map Smiley

OK, no senate. But I'm still going to post my map; it took ages to work out the distrits.

In the proposal, there are 6 Republican districts, 4 Democrats districts and one that is probably democrat. I did it on 2000 Results and EVs, so it might be a bit different now. I tried to have every district with between 50-60 EVs.

PD-Firstly, the Yes vote is winning anyway. Secondly, i'mm just giving a (republican favourable) map and basic framework, if we choose to go ahead. Thirdly, there are better ways to get people to do what you want then yealling at them.

Yes, it would be better if they had a new govt.; but at the moment, their govt. is at least existant. A nation of 1.4 billion people, under revolt, would screw up the whole worlds economy, especially asia's, for many many years.

A slower transition to an open, western-style democracy should be the route-and it is; with the WTO, opening up to the world, the Beijing olympics, etc.

China is far from perfect, but it is better then it was 20 years ago, and in 20 more years it will be better again, if we continue down this path.
