2024 election: Trump vs Biden if Trump gets Covid again and survives again

After the mask less event at CPAC in 2021, many attendees and speakers including Trump end up catching the South African variant of Covid. Since Trump already had the other variant, his illness is very mild and he ends up recovering even faster and goes on to say that Covid is even less deadly than the flu.

By 2022 the coronavirus pandemic comes to an official end but by 2024, certain states still have mask mandates in place and Biden endorses this. In addition, schools and universities are still shut down because teachers unions demand that they never go back to in person learning because they say they could come down with the common cold or the flu.

Biden supports social distancing even after the pandemic and Trump runs on ending social distancing.

Republicans win big in 2022 and 2024. Trump and the GOP would make massive gains with young people. Honestly, I think there would be a huge increase in youth depression and suicide.

I was a committed Never-Trumper this cycle, but I just might vote for him if this scenario came to pass. I'm out of college and don't have kids, but keeping schools closed long after the threat is gone would be absolutely insane.

Massachusetts would lean towards Trump imo. If Charlie Baker can win it in a Blue Wave^TM year like 2018 then Trump should be able to carry it tbh, especially with Warren on the ballot in 2024.
