I was expecting something entirely different based on the thread title.

My first two votes are so obvious I don't even have to say them, but for posterity's sake I will: Family Guy and Beavis and Butthead.

For the third I voted "Other": Rick and Morty.

The Venture Brothers, not close.

Of those listed, KotH is the best TV show, Simpsons is the most important to the genre and SP is the most importantly culturally.

I am adding those to be exhaustive, I can't believe I forgot. If you have any other suggestions, let me know.

Of those listed: South Park, Futurama, Archer.

I would be inclined to sub out South Park for Ugly Americans, though I feel like my love for that show has probably dissipated since I haven't watched it in forever...maybe Bob's Burgers instead.

1. Rick and Morty
2. Archer
3. Vintage Simpsons (voted South Park instead because Simpsons jumped the shark about 20 years ago...)
4. South Park
5. Bojack Horseman ,(would be higher, but it can get really depressing, and I don't want to be brought down)

Where's the first great prime-time TV, made-for-adults parody of American life in this poll? Of course, I mean The Flintstones. It was unequaled and unparalleled until The Simpsons.

The first five seasons of South Park might be the best TV comedy of all time period. They've had scattered episodes reach those height again since, but less so over time and it's been pretty unwatchable lately.
