Yeah, it would have been repealed. That wouldn't necessarily stop Congress from passing a new resolution explicitly condemning jravnsbo, since the rescission of his previous honours was a technicality.

Exactly. The resolution is about establishing the sentiment of Congress (or the old Senate) towards an individual. While the text of the law has been removed from the active record by the reset, the sentiments cannot be since the reset never directly addressed them. Thus, it falls on the current successor to the old Senate - Congress - to dispel the sentiments expressed by the old Senate and explicitly condemn them.

In the parts from which I originate, it is referred to as Devil Rum by folks in said areas.
