Schumer will easily get reelected next year and I don't think any serious progressive will challenge him for the nomination. AOC hasn't that bad political instincts that she will actually try. However, I think he will lose some support in Upstate New York in the general election, compared to 2016. Probably he will finish similar to Gillibrand in 2018. But he'll definitely get around 65% of the vote in the general.

Of course Schumer is getting thru these nominations and passing the stimulus, so he is popular
