Trying to win back voters by imiating Trump style management

Quote

TALLAHASSEE — The Florida Democratic Party on Friday terminated two-thirds of its staff as part of an overhaul being pushed into place by new party chair Manny Diaz.

Diaz made the move less than a week after he was selected by Democrats to rebuild the party where President Donald Trump scored a convincing win in the state and Democrats lost legislative and congressional seats in the 2020 elections.

Party officials said the reduction from 19 full-time employees to six full-time employees was temporary while Diaz conducts a top-to-bottom review of operations. Juan Penalosa, who had been the executive director of the party, resigned earlier this week.

Yes, burn it all!

They should go to the county level and burn it there too!

But yes, I agree.  If the Florida Democratic Party is to have any hope at all, it is best to start from scratch.

Rubio is a shoe in and the Gov race, we will see next yr if Crist can get momentum, but Rubio is gonna win, no one is taking down Rubio and Val Deming's needs to wait til 2024/ to take on Scott. Dems have a better chance in IA or MO to get that 55th seat.

To be fair, the article makes it pretty clear that this had nothing to do with Diaz and that two of the folks he forced out were responsible for the screw up.

Still, the glorious apparatus that is the FLDP, bad news since forever.
