Avoiding running on the platform of cops, cops, and more cops would help.

How many of these threads is it gonna take for people to understand that the answer is the same in California, Colorado, New Jersey, etc.?

The answer is stop campaigning on racism and homophobia, plain and simple. Only thing is, they won't because their base demands it.

Then how is GOP winning in MA and MD and some blue states? GOP at national level and statewide is not the same

Run Joey Salads, easy. Oh wait, he'll lose in a blowout? Well for statewide offices, they would have to localise the election(which is difficult because it's New York), choose a Moderate Hero, and run against a supbar Dem Nominee. For federal office, it's going to take a while due to polarization and demographics not favoring the GOP, though a Roy Moore situation will do the trick, though it's pretty rare.

That's their whole premise, anyway....they have to, because the cop-friendly families are their base. They abandon Long Island and Hudson Valley and UpState by doing that.....
