2032? You mean when Arnold would be 85 years old? The question is who will Republican voters hate more: a hijabi woman or a never-Trump Republican? Arnold's inability to hold together the R coalition might give Ilhan Omar an opening to win despite her perceived radicalness

Yeah no. By 2032, who knows if Republicans will even care about Trump still? Would have been inconceivable to most people that an anti-Bush Republican would be their standard-bearer as late as freaking 2014. You know, when people still thought Jeb! would be their nominee.

And even if they do, Arnold opposing Trump 12 years earlier will be nothing compared to freaking Omar. And that doesn't even get into how much better Arnold would assuredly do with moderates, suburbanites, etc. Even plenty of Democrats. Hell, I would vote for Arnold in this election!

So, opinions on Trump will change, but opinions on Omar will be the same? You can't have both be true…

The point is that Trump will be much less relevant in 2032. He will be in his 80s and reliant on his children and a decreasing number of diehards. Omar will be relevant, because she's the Democratic nominee and even if she toned down or rhetoric she would still probably be the most 'left-wing' major party candidate ever, and a hijabi woman.
