Due to her unseating the opposition's leader in the Senate, Trump endorses her, since he has health issues and cannot run himself. With Biden retiring and Harris running an atrocious campaign, Tenney narrowly wins and is inaugurated.

He runs for governor of Oregon in 2022 and wins. Biden can't run for health reasons, and Harris is unpopular. DeFazio wins the Democratic nomination and defeats Donald Trump on a social democrat platform.
