Somehow becomes a figure in the atheist movement, and earns toots of the atheist vote in the libertarian primary. He somehow wins the libertarian primary, and with his devoted following of atheists, forced the election into the house, and the house decided in favor of John Dule.

Deputy Secretary of HHS doesn't seem like a springboard to the presidency, so I'm assuming Beccera resigned or was fired for some reason, making her the Secretary, and she somehow single-handedly 'fixed/ended/cured' COVID19, leading to her winning the Democratic nomination and the presidency by a decent margin.

How about Katie Blair (Miss Teen USA in 2006)?

Biden dies. Separately, there’s a January 6-level attack on democracy by radical leftists during the Biden-Harris term, with the tacit support of AOC. Crowley runs for his old seat back and becomes Speaker, and then ascends to the presidency when Harris (who never got a VP confirmed) somehow dies or resigns.

Stephen Breyer.

That just sounds way darker and more apocalyptic than it should be. Isn't it possible that Crowley runs in another district following redistricting and wins (and no one needs to die and there's no January 6 repeat)?

(Anyway, I'm not going to do my own person, so whoever goes next can do it.)

She runs Independent, as the Democratic and Republican Parties nominate Harvey Weinstein and David Duke. With the nominees proven to have both been serial killers, Blair wins.

Ethan hands over control of his youtube channel to someone old enough to run for president. Thus, when the new LTE youtuber runs for President, his videos go viral and all the pundits take his predictions seriously which all show him winning in a landslide and he does.

COVID19 is raging hard and the Republicans are still very upset over Afghanistan as the Taliban has begun undoing years of progress. Running on a platform to fix Afghanistan (citing his military experience), and to help impose "some reasonable" restrictions on COVID19, O'Brien clinches the GOP nomination in an upset and wins the general election very narrowly.

Jessica Taylor (Republican senatorial candidate in AL).

Taylor wins in 2022 after a series of scandals cripple the chances of the current frontrunners.

At the 2024 conventions, Trump is convinced by advisors that he must pick a female VP nominee to try and close the gender voting gap. Impressed by Taylor's upset victory, relative youth, and business background, Trump invites Senator Taylor to join the ticket, which wins the election.

Between the election and inauguration, Trump suffers a stroke, and GOP electors to the electoral college pick Taylor instead, once more handing the presidency to a political novice.

Lamb wins the Senate Race in Pennsylvania in 2022, after Fetterman and Parnell tank. After Biden decides against running for reelection, Lamb pulls a shock upset against Harris in the Democratic Primary, since Harris can't effectively run a good campaign. Trump wins the GOP Nomination, but after his brain had turned into fried jelly after 1/6 and being banned from Twitter, causing Lamb to win and be inaugurated.

Gonzalez runs as a moderate on the Trump issue, winning anti-Trumpers for his impeachment and generally those who are not slavishly devoted to Trump. He faces dozens of GOP opponents after Trump says he won't run, leading to a very split pro-Trump faction. Gonzalez finishes second to Ron DeSantis; however, neither has a majority of delegates. Ultimately, Gonzalez strikes a deal with the person who came third, Kristi Noem, to endorse her in return for becoming her running mate. She agrees quickly. In the general election, Kamala Harris is the Democratic opponent and is somewhat unpopular; as such, Noem/Gonzalez narrowly win the election (though they lose the popular vote). There are wild protests, since Harris won the popular vote by 2.9%. Right after Noem and Gonzalez are inaugurated, Noem is shot fatally by a disgruntled Harris supporter. Gonzalez is hit too, but survives. He is inaugurated as president shortly thereafter.

Leavitt beats Pappas in 2021. A constitutional amendment is passed lowering the minimum age to run for president to 25. Leavitt is elected as Trump's VP, but he dies days before the inauguration.

Nancy Mace.

Tim Scott decides to run for president and announces resigns as senator in early 2023. Nancy is appointed to the Senate to fill Scott's seat, and wins the special election as well. With Scott and Nikki Haley both running for the GOP race it is clear SC will be the key primary that will decide who wins. Ron DeSantis badly wants SC to grip the nomination and Mace's endorsement is coveted. DeSantis says that if Mace endorses him she can be his running mate. They do so and DeSantis makes Mace the VP candidate. With two southeasterners from states bordering GA on the ballot, Georgia flips. Maricopa and Arizona also both very narrowly flip red. And Wisconsin somehow flips as well. So the DeSantis/Mace ticket prevails. However, just after election day complications occur when DeSantis is engulfed with scandal and the GOP distances itself from him. It urges electors from red states to vote for Mace in the Electoral College, and enough of them do so that no candidate gets the requisite 269 votes. Running mates are also split, since it's a free-for-all for GOP electors. In the concurrent House election Mace wins. However, in a shocker, the Democratic-held (51-49) Senate votes for Kamala Harris as vice-president. Therefore, on January 20, Nancy Mace is made president and Harris stays on as vice-president.

Grassley retires in 2022 and Hinson wins the GOP nomination in an upset. In the general election Hinson wins by 10 points or so. In 2023 Hinson announces she is running for president and she surprisingly carries her home state of Iowa in the primaries. She is vaulted into front-runner status and finishes a good 3rd in New Hampshire. From there she wins the GOP nomination and wins the general election narrowly.

Biden declines to run again, and Bloomberg runs another campaign, though against Harris. He wins the primary unexpectedly with all his money, and wins over Ted Cruz in the general. Marty Walsh is his running mate.
