Stein, as the nominee of the Green Party, wins a plurality of the popular vote and a majority of the electoral vote against Marjorie Taylor Greene and Rashida Talib.

Chelsea Clinton runs for Senate in a 2021 special election after Kirsten Gillibrand is arrested on insider trading charges and resigns. (I mean it could be Schumer, but Gillibrand would be more surprising.) She wins the Dem nomination as a unity candidate after Biden stands down and Harris is defeated, also beating Andrew Yang, Eric Swalwell, Gretchen Whitmer, Ilhan Omar and Charlie Crist.

Bobby Bright runs an Independent Campaign after Democrats nominate Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez and Republicans nominate Marjorie Taylor Greene. He wins a plurality of the popular vote, and exactly 270 electoral votes. His running mate is Cindy McCain.

Instead of running in 2024, Trump endorses Newt Gingrich, who would cruise to the nomination. In the General, he matches against Kamala Harris, who is discovered to be a diehard Nazi a week before the election. Newt wins and is then inaugurated.

Umm, I have no who Crispin Wah is (if they don't have a Wikipedia Page, they don't exist in my opinion.), so I have no clue how Crispin Wah could possibly become President by 2025.

I guess I'll do NewYorkExpress's suggestion:

Cuomo doesn't run for re-election in 2022 out of disgrace over his role in the nursing home scandal. Spitzer gets nominated instead by the Democratic Party in a major comeback and wins the general election. He then goes on to be incredibly popular in the state and nationwide for his role in regulating Wall Street again, and beats Harris in a primary for the 2024 nomination after Biden retires. He faces Ted Cruz in the general election whose Cancun controversy made him very popular among the GOP base due to sheer contrarian spite and since Trump ended up not running and endorsing him, but ends up losing to Spitzer in 2024 with the 318-220 map being the result.

Beto O'Rourke.

Beto O'Rourke beats Greg Abbott in the Texas Gubernatorial election in 2022, and immediately launches a presidential bid. His strength in fundraising forces Kamala Harris out of the race, and he beats the Republican nominee by the skin of his teeth in November.

Biden appoints Merrick Garland to AG.

Garland finds signs of corruption from Biden, and investigates him. Harris is implicated in the massive scandal.

Garland is persuaded into running as people appreciated that he had a moral compass and investigated his boss.

He runs and wins the primary from moderates and crossover voters. Some Trump lovers even voted for Garland in the primary because they were so happy that he charged Biden and Harris.

Garland wins against Kristi Noem.

Progressives pass the Hatch amendment, and lower the minimum age of presidents to 18. Thunberg for some reason moves to the US and decides to join the Democrats. Her views on climate manage to swing moderates and she wins a decisive victory(391-147), even winning Texas(because of what happened in 2021).

Having just looked up what that is, something goes badly, badly wrong.

Elizabeth II is granted US citizenship in a bid to strengthen US-UK relations. She is voted as Speaker of the House in 2023 after Republicans take the majority, but moderates refuse to support McCarthy. Joe Biden dies in office, but Kamala Harris is under investigation for using a private email server.

Trump wins the 2024 Republican Primary, but doesn't want to have Pence back as his VP given how his term ended. He picks Jeff Van Drew to attempt some kind of appeal to moderates, suburbans, and people who left the Democratic party. Jeff gives his "I didn't leave the Democratic Party, the Democratic Party left me" speech on the stump. Trump dies before the election, and a wave of sympathy combined with uncertainty over VP Harris narrowly elects Van Drew over her.

Redrawn districts allow Brindisi to defeat Tenney in 2022. Biden resigns after the midterms for health reasons, and Kamala Harris becomes President. She chooses Brindisi as her new Vice President, aiming to strengthen Midwest/rural support.

Harris surprises everyone by running for Feinstein's Senate seat in 2024 instead of for a full term, leaving Brindisi to run for the Presidency. There is much speculation about Harris's motive, but she refuses to say anything beyond vague statements like "personal reasons" or "the stress of the job." Republicans try to use the "mystery" to attack Brindisi, but the attacks fall flat. He wins the election by a moderate margin, likely with a map similar to 2020. His administration is seen as essentially the continuation of the Biden/Harris administration.

Deb Haaland steps down because of some scandal and Biden appoints Wilson to be Secretary of the Interior. There is a major far-right militia attack on the 2022 SOTU address with Wilson as designated survivor. Biden, Harris, Pelosi, Leahy, Blinken, Yellen, Austin, and Garland are all either killed or incapacitated. Wilson assumes the Presidency and does a masterful job uniting the country in a post-9/11 style spirit of comradery against the attackers. Wilson coasts to re-election against a far-right Republican who is successfully painted as being in league with the attackers and a center-right independent challenger.

Thank God it has been merged into one thread. This meme was very annoying and spammed the main page. This meant serious discussion could not happen.

I hope the people who made the joke threads are not pleased haha

Kshama Sawant

Sawant is the only serious primary challenger to Kamala Harris, and wins the Iowa Caucus, crippling Harris's fundraising. Despite expectations that Harris will do extremely well in states like South Carolina, Sawant keeps things close by running up the score among white progressives, and ultimately forces Harris from the race when she wins the California Primary.

She then defeats Donald Trump, after picking Bernie Sanders as her running mate, as a John Kasich independent candidacy splits the Republican vote.

Biden doesn't seek reelection due to his age. Vance successfully prosecutes Trump on tax fraud and sends him to jail, along with Junior and Jared. As a result, he's now the newest darling of the #resistance types. There's an active movement to draft him for president, and party insiders think he'd be more electable than Kamala since he's an older white guy, so they push him as the nominee. With the pandemic over, crime spikes nationwide as a result of pent-up energy. Vance uses his credentials as a prosecutor to run on an anti-crime platform, and defeats Ron DeSantis, who proves to be a paper tiger.

Tom Kean Jr. defeats an incumbent Democrat (probably Malinowski) in 2022, then runs for President in 2024. He wins the Republican nomination at the convention, after fifty different candidates win each primary/caucus (Kean wins New Jersey). With his running mate, Nikki Haley, he defeats Kamala Harris in the general election.

The Democratic party primaries end in disaster as Kamala Harris is forced to withdraw for personal reasons before the convention and instead of nominating runner-up Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the superdelegates choose Bob Menendez, who becomes practically doa in the general election. Trump decides to run again and wins the Republican primary easily. He selects Blagojevich as his running mate in some sort of strange appeal to Democrats. Trump later succumbs to health issues shortly after the convention, leaving Blago as the nominee. Menendez ends up being just enough of a punching bag for Blago, that combined with a sympathy bump after Trump's death, is able to grant him a narrow victory.

Ramsey Clark ran as a Mike Gravel type candidate on the same issues + civil rights and education. Because the Biden administration had failed in those areas and Kamala Harris was damaged during the primary, he won as they were the only two candidates. He defeats the Republican, winning all of Biden's states except Wisconsin and Arizona and almost winning North Carolina.

Melania Trump challenges Marco Rubio in the 2022 FL-Sen GOP primary and wins both the primary and the general election. Donald Trump decides to run again in 2024 but dies from a massive heart attack just after Super Tuesday. After this, the Trump family and GOP leaders who supported the late former President convince Melania to run in his place and endorse her. She easily becomes the GOP nominee with the support of both her and her husband's delegates and chooses Tim Scott as her running mate. Trump/Scott goes on to beat Biden/Harris in a closer win than what many expected.

Congress has huge turnover in the 2021-2024 period, to the point where Susan Collins becomes President pro tempore of the Senate. COVID-24 kills President Biden VP Harris and Speaker Jeffries to hand the WH over to our new Acting President Collins.
