Pretty remarkable for him to talk about the 'hallowed' floors a senate that has included Theodore G. Bilbo.

It's an extremely petty statement though; he can't even say I beat Senator Jon Ossoff- he refers to him as the 'democrat'.

IIRC he never actually called Ossoff when he won and his concession statement never mentioned his name either.

Trump is probably going to endorse Doug Collins, MTG, Vernon Jones, or Herschel Walker for this and the GA Gubernatorial primary.

He probably has a whole lineup of endorsements for senate, governor, lt governor, secretary of state, attorney general, etc.

That would be my guess too.

Yeah, I think it's obvious that Marjorie Taylor Greene is running, and Purdue knows he can't beat her in a statewide primary.

Doug Collins and Loeffler might also have muscled him out. Loeffler has already got public praise from Cotton and Haley, amongst others.

The race could tilt or possibly even lean to Perdue if one or both of the below events occur:
    a.) Warnock becomes unpopular / is too liberal for Georgia voters / makes a gaffe, possibly relating to Israel / Palestine, that alienates some supporters.
   b.) The 2022 midterms are good for the GOP.

Assuming neither of the above occur, then the race is tossup or tilt Democratic. While Warnock may be the incumbent, remember, he won in 2020 because of a surge in turnout in Atlanta and the gravity of the race. If 2022 is a decent year for Democrats and the race progresses to a runoff, it's possible turnout is down from 2021 since the race matters less and Perdue wins. If, conversely, 2022/2023 is a repeat of 2020/2021, with it being a 50-50 tie and the Senate balance hinging on the Georgia race, then perhaps Warnock, since Perdue is a somewhat weakish candidate, given that he underperformed Trump in 2020 by 1% in a year where Trump did historically bad for a Republican presidential candidate in Georgia.

Herschel Walker forced to cancel a fundraiser with a woman who has a swastika-shaped image in her Twitter profile.

Georgia Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker has canceled a fundraiser hosted by a woman whose Twitter account featured a swastika-shaped image used to protest Covid-19 vaccine mandates.

"The previously scheduled event has been called off," said Mallory Blount, a spokeswoman for Walker's campaign. "Herschel is a strong friend of Israel and the Jewish community and opposes hatred and bigotry of all forms. Despite the fact that the apparent intent behind the graphic was to condemn government vaccine mandates, the symbol used is very offensive and does not reflect the values of Herschel Walker or his campaign."

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution first reported that Walker would attend an event in Texas this weekend hosted by Bettina Sofia Viviano-Langlais, a film producer. Her Twitter account included a profile picture of a rendering of a swastika made out of medical needles. The image has been used by opponents of vaccine mandates. Viviano-Langlais has since removed the image.

Earlier on Wednesday, a Walker spokeswoman had defended Viviano-Langlais' profile picture as an "anti-mandatory vaccination graphic" in a statement to the AJC.

Georgia Democrats attacked Walker over the issue Wednesday. "Herschel Walker defended a swastika, and canceling a fundraiser does not change the fact that he failed to condemn a hateful, anti-Semitic symbol," Democratic Party of Georgia spokesman Dan Gottlieb said in a statement.
